Amazon unveiled plans Monday for Amazon Go, a store concept where shoppers will simply open a smartphone app and scan their phones when they enter, pick up the items they want and leave without stopping to pay. The first 1,800-square-foot Amazon Go location is slated to open in Seattle next year, and will sell grocery staples, prepared meals, snacks and meal kits, the company said.
