Banks use videos, ads to highlight contributions

Big banks such as Citibank, JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America are using online and televised videos to demonstrate to consumers and employees the importance of banking to the global economy. Americans still carry negative attitudes toward banks, and the banks “have to keep talking about the value we bring to society,” said Ed Skyler, Citigroup’s executive vice president for public affairs.
