In a bid to encourage financial technology startups, the French central bank has launched a blockchain innovation lab. It mentioned that the technology’s potential needs to be explored and developed. Banque de France has attracted more than 100 innovators to join its fintech innovation unit. It has established a fintech forum with the country’s financial markets regulator.
