The World Federation of Exchanges responded to the European Securities and Markets Authority’s discussion paper on blockchain by calling for a global approach to distributed ledger technology. The introduction of regulatory sandboxes like those for the wider fintech industry could also be effective for blockchain technology, the WFE said.
