Elon Musk has helped to launch a new company called Neuralink and may play a “significant” leadership role in the venture, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Neuralink is pursuing the opportunities with using brain electrodes to link human thoughts to computers.
Neuralink is said to have been actively hiring leading academics from the field.
Musk already guides Tesla (TSLA +2.8%) and SpaceX (Private:SPACE).
