Calling Facebook (NASDAQ:FB) an “asset-light disruptor” with the ability to leverage its “world-leading user base and mobile engagement to monetize long-term growth,” analyst Derek Bingham adds the stock to Goldman’s Focus List for the Information Technology sector.
Users spend more than 30 minutes per day on average Facebook apps, or roughly 30% of daily mobile Internet use in the U.S., he says. “We believe this industry-leading engagement offers a myriad of ancillary future opportunities in areas such as Messenger app, Facebook M (virtual assistant) and Facebook Login.”
