Net foreign direct investment in China’s financial institutions came to 1.826 billion yuan in the second quarter, about half the total in the preceding period. Chinese financial institutions’ net overseas direct investment in Q2 amounted to 37.918 billion yuan, up sharply from 11.614 billion yuan in Q1.
