First Trust Advisors has brought to NYSE Arca two exchange-traded funds designed to maximize returns while minimizing volatility. The First Trust Horizon Managed Volatility Domestic ETF, which invests in large-cap US equities, and the First Trust Horizon Managed Volatility Developed International ETF, which buys mid-cap and large-cap US and international developed-market equities, are actively managed.
