The Senate has confirmed former Wall Street executive Steven Mnuchin to be treasury secretary by a 53-47 vote, one of the narrowest margins ever for the post. During the debate, Democrats criticized Mnuchin for his actions as head of OneWest Bank in Pasadena, Calif.
