NBCUniversal on Monday confirmed that it has invested an additional $200 million in viral-URL-producing site Buzzfeed, adding to the $200 million it invested in August. As part of the partnership, NBCU will sell Buzzfeed’s ad inventory and the two companies will work together to “create new digital consumer experiences” for NBCU content.
