All three major stock indexes closed at record highs Thursday, and markets continued to climb in early trading today. At 10 a.m. Eastern, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 57 points, the Nasdaq composite was up 6 points and the Standard & Poor’s 500 index was up 5 points.
