Samsung Electronics added support for mobile payments to the new line of Gear S3 smartwatches it introduced Wednesday, with both devices offering four days of battery life, new digital features and large faces. Unlike the Gear S3 Classic, the Gear S3 Frontier can make calls as well as send data without a cellular connection, and one report suggests that Samsung has entered beta tests to ensure that its watches are compatible with Apple’s mobile devices.
