Tens of thousands of banking jobs will leave the UK if the country doesn’t come up with a transitional deal governing its withdrawal from the EU, according to a report from the British House of Lords. Banks won’t wait until 2019 to learn whether they will retain access to the EU market after Brexit and instead will start making important decisions next year, the report said.
