According to a filing last week by Snap, the parent company of Snapchat, founders Evan Spiegel and Bobby Murphy pay their top executives well but also retain a tight grip on voting rights and therefore company policy. Major US pension funds are objecting to the voting arrangement ahead of Snap’s initial public offering.
