South Korea and Russia agreed to launch talks next month that could lead to a free-trade accord between South Korea and the Russian-led Eurasian Economic Union. “We will be able to create a new blue ocean for mutual prosperity if Russia’s rich resources and potential in the Far East region is combined with Korea’s capital and technology,” said Korean President Park Geun-hye.
