The costs involved with launching web-based businesses have fallen in recent years, and startup accelerators are changing and exploring new operational models. “There are just too many incubators and accelerators and some of them will merge or disappear,” said Martin Ihrig, an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
