UK wants to coordinate fintech oversight with US

Britain’s financial regulators are eager to partner with the US to share information on the oversight of financial-technology firms, said Christopher Woolard, director of strategy and competition for the Financial Conduct Authority. By reaching out to other jurisdictions, the FCA is “trying to take some of the friction out of how these firms grow scale,” he said.
