US corporate-tax rate could be 28%

The Trump administration’s target corporate-tax rate has nudged up since before the election. When then-candidate Donald Trump pledged to cut the rate to 15% from 35%. After a failed attempt to repeal the Affordable Care Act, Americans for Tax Reform President Grover Norquist estimates a 28% corporate-tax rate is needed to be deficit neutral after a decade.
