Wal-Mart will reportedly announce its $3.3B purchase of online retailer Jet.com today in what appears to be the largest-ever acquisition of an e-commerce company. Under the terms of the deal, Jet co-founder and chief executive Marc Lore will remain at his post and run Wal-Mart’s (NYSE:WMT) U.S. e-commerce operations.
