Three presidential debates and the one scheduled vice presidential debate will be streamed live on Facebook’s (FB +0.1%) platform.
Facebook and ABC News worked together previously to stream the Republican and Democratic national conventions.
Rights to the general election presidential debates, though, are not exclusive. Many other networks including Fox News Channel, CNN, CBS, NBC C-SPAN and others will be offering their own programming.
Nonetheless, streaming of traditionally TV-broadcasted events continues to progress onto more digital platforms with initiatives from Twitter, Google and others having provided an assortment of viewing experiences of late.
